Two Ropeye athlete conquer the Class 40 achievement together

Matteo Sericano (Mini Transat 2021), and Luca Rossetti (winner of Mini Transat 2023), both Ropeye athletes, just started a new project in Class 40, with the aid of Ropeye.

They will start their first season in the Med, with a full and challenging calendar: PAPREC, 151, Marsilla Cup, Palermo-Montecarlo, Med Max, and finally the well known Middle Sea Race.

When we met, Matteo told us: “We are really excited about this new project. Now we are focusing mostly on preparing the boat for the season, we want to tailor made it to our needs. Honestly, Ropeye allows us to personalize the Class 40 to our needs like no other solution. Especially, by having not a lot of time at disposal, the easy and quick application saved us time and sanity”.

Luca added: “Obviously we applied countless TDP to have strong, light and reliable padai (attachment points) around the boat, but Ropeye has been key also to arrage the wires of the electronics. We were struggling to find the perfect way to keep the wires together yet still leaving room to be able to work on them if needed, and by using a mix between stick-on eyestrap and XS, we found the perfect combo”.
