VENDEE GLOBE

The biggest sailing event is starting in less than 20 days, and we couldn't be more excited.

The skippers are at the Vendee Globe village in les Sables d’Olonne, the boats are getting ready, the teams are working on the last little steps to get the boats perfectly in shape to sail across the world.

The Vendée Globe is a single-handed, non-stop, non-assisted round-the-world sailing race that takes place every four years. It is contested on IMOCA monohulls, which are 18 metres long. The skippers set off from Les Sables-d'Olonne in Vendée and sail around 45,000 kilometres around the globe, rounding the three legendary capes (Good Hope, Leeuwin and finally Cape Horn) before returning to Les Sables d'Olonne. The race has acquired an international reputation, attracting skippers from all over the world. 

We are proudly onboard multiple Imocas, that proudly installed Ropeye onboard to fit various needs. 

In addition, we also came out with a new product for the Vendee Globe that Giancarlo Pedote has installed on Prysmian Group, the pro loop D 28, our classical pro loop however bettered in shape, especially the grafting where the dyneema comes out. We provided a softer surface to allow the loop to move smoothly and hold tons on working load.
